Hi. Firstly before I start on my entry, I would like to thank everyone who have complemented me or gave me advice in one way or another. Really appreciated it. Thanks again :).
Ok now is the start of my entry.
As many of you know, we celebrated 5 ppl's bday today, namely
Zi Kai, Ee Kent, Zhi Yan, Hui Min and mine. Hope you all enjoyed the cake. As the name suggests, they supposed to specialise in making chocolate cakes. And I assumed that most people liked chocolate, so since this is the last time we will be celebrating bdays, so I decided to buy it. Actually I like chocolate cakes the best la, so a bit selfish on my part too...sorry. Anyway, I am happy to note that this time round, the class relationship did improve slightly. We interacted more with the opposite sex, even though the general trend of "girls one side, guys the other still applied", but nevertheless, its still an improvement, so keep it up! Yep...
Perhaps the comprehension which we did on Globalisation applies here in a certain way. "The celebration of Christmas has gone beyond its traditional meaning". Similarly, the celebration of bdays in our class today not only served to make the 5 of us happy, but also as a platform for the class to bond together again. The intent is there, and I hope the impact was there too. I can say that this mini birthday celebration did make me feel happier on the note that the class is more bonded.
Looking forward, we have only 16 days left to our start of the GP paper. And we theoratically only have one more session where we can get together as a class before that, which is on the 31st of Oct, but I doubt many of us will even bother going. Too near exams really...
This being so, today is effectively the last time I will be seeing the class as one. For during the exams, I will be again in a different venue from you all. So today holds an even more special meaning for me in that sense. No doubt we will be apart during the exams, but my heart will always be with the class. We will sit for any paper as one, and do well together! In a nut shell, lend me your luck too :P (nah just kidding), yah but thats really how I feel.Everyone specialises in different things. We are gifted in certain areas. While Ee kent and Jameson and some others are gifted in academic areas, I specialise in chess, and hoe seng in tennis. Just some examples. Its a matter of allocating resources really. Everyone can do as well, just a matter of how much effort you put in for the subject, so dun give up! Help each other to improve in their weak areas. Believe me, when you see some one you have taught actually understand the topic, you will feel a special feeling within....and like what Sir Issac Newton once said
" You only fully understand the topic if you can make your grandmother understand it". Not saying that those you teach are useless or what...but if you can teach someone, it gives you the kind of confidence that you will need while doing the paper. Because you know that you have fully grasp the concept behind it. So do not hesitate to help each other out... And I will continue to post useful resources here.
Btw, I am really running dry on smses, so thats why i asked zhi yan to mass sms all the chem students abt the consultation. Just one thing to note: Dun need to book as a group, just tell me individually, and I will collate all the ppl and arrange a day. Mdm Lee is not free everyday too, so I need to confirm with her.
Full instructions are available at the "sun" section of this blog. Those who read it, please help me inform those who didn read...cause I think I have less than 10 smses to spare...lol.
On a final note, I would really wish that we can continue to forge stronger bonds in the class. Let the class spirit go on and on for years to come! Thank you all of you for making these 2 yrs in AJC special for me. Friends forever! :)
