And so we finally graduated from Anderson Junior College, class of 1805 from 2005 to 2006. I have mixed feelings, mostly sad and emotional, especially even more so after the "confession session" in Amk neighbourhood park. I can say that the happiest point of my life so far was during my JC days though it was tough & tired for all of us. For sure, A'levels as the advanced level is never easy because it is the hardest hurdle to cross. But i have spent the best of my days in my JC & there are a lot of reasons attributed to this. Firstly, i have found the best of friends, my brothers- Yick loong, Zhi Yan & Ee Kent. Not only are we the best companions but we share a lot of common interests as well. Then, is when i was voted in as one of the class leaders this year , i forged stronger bonds with the class & had more close friends like Jameson, Junrong, Shui yong, Kenneth, Andie, etc. And of course including all the girls. As a class rep, i feel that i did not do enough to bond the class but only perform my duties. And i have to applaud Yick loong's, Shui yong's & Andie's effort to bring the class together such as clearing the conflicts, hard work has surely paid off ya, i believe ur surely can sleep well tonight.:)
Really glad that at least we have a happy ending, thought that we cant do much in such a short period of time before study break comes. However, i feel sad that hoe seng has drifted away from us. You know i still recall the happy moments we have with Hoe seng. still remember his funny things he always say out during lessons especially Mrs Chng's. then, most importantly, his birthday celebration in the canteen during JC1 organised by valerie they all. remember the T-shirt they gave to him..then they wrote something on like "mole" or wat?.Actually, such things crossed my mind when i read about how hoe seng is angry towards valerie. we people usually tend to forget about the good that the other person has done for us. But this is a normal reaction for everybody cos anger sometimes overwhelmes us, i made this kind of mistakes too. I think such things are beyond our control and we have done our best, no regrets at all. Still, as a friend, i wish him all the very best for his exams and hope he can achieve what he always yield for.
i didnt prepare any messages for ur today so i was thinking of posting them here. you know we all got back our prelim results & now working for the A'levels. one interesting fact is that i realised Ms Goh actually said one common thing to everyone when she comments about our results..that is, "straight A's hor, can get one". Well, i guess a lot of people may be surprised by that comment but i think it is possible for everyone. i shall write for each person one message in random order.
Debbie: great being in the same physics group as you for 2 yrs and i think you are a great mediator who can voice out suggestions to solve problems. u surely can get your straight A's one given ur current results & ur ability in science concepts.
Sue lynnVery funny person especially your sudden "squeaks" when you hear cheese cake. Juz joking la, cos ur face always brightens up when u hear about ur fav food..lol. Straight A's not a problem for you cos u r hardworking. So perserve on!
Chenyin: still remember on the very 1st day when our class get together, u talk to me and u told me that u got top for ur science in ur sec school when i asked. So i was thinking, if u can be top, why cant u get straight A's?
Valerie: very blur and funny, still remember u dozed off during Chng's lessons, then u suddenly woke up when the bell rang and say " so boring". luckily she didnt hear it..lol. only girl who's holding 4 sub, means that u can handle the A's right?
Sabrinafellow class rep, good to work with. Surely can get A's one given ur strong ability in maths & ur hard work. Never give up!
Yilingfellow Pw group member. Nice having u as a member cos it makes our job easier for our project theme" RFID"..lol. Very hardworking, can see great improvements, means u r climbing ur way to the top for the A's!
Huling: shy but nice to talk to, interact more and i believe u will make a lot of friends! wah..highest for maths in Mid yr, this milestone surely means more milestones, that is, the A's!
Huimin: quiet but a very good Gp rep. u should be paid u know. Contiune to perservere..there's going to be light at the end of the tunnel...Ur A's not far.
Hoesengvery interesting to talk to, especially when i always met u in "72" bus every morning to school. Dont lose stamina at the end, dont waste that great potential of urs...A's will surely be yours.
Ragen: always laugh at my laughter , say i "siao", ya, thats what makes people happy. great to know u when u always like to say lame things. Surely can get A's, quite good in ur academics, very steady.
Kenneth: u r so slack, so lazy but have the brains. muz self-disclipine, dont always get tempted by sports programmes leh. u have great potential, defintely can if u work. study hard!
Jiayi: very nice to talk to. very funny at times too. hey, u got so high for the 2005 A'level maths paper 2...surely can get A's then.
Jameson: nice person to confine in, will miss our 'flashing' days but we still can flash during the exams! dont need to tell you, sure will collect distinctions.
Junrong: from steve chia , to labile proton, to handsom( by the noodle stall aunty). u have a lot of nicknames this yr. very nice talking to u. Juz work hard, can get the A's one!
Andie: u didnt tear me..hahaz, i escaped. anyway, really great to have such a crazy & funny friend like u, u will never be forgotten. continue to work hard and remember, "it is not about winning people but to win yourself". if u win, A's r yours.
Shuiyong: really great to work with u as a class rep. A good class rep who desires class bonding, i salute you! so pro in Gp, surely can grab the other A's.
Jonathan: super carefree person but can see you have ur own worries. very fun to have you in our class especially during Mrs Chng lessons. so gd in Gp too, u have the brains, juz work hard, A's will be urs.
Yick loong: (3rd bro)the father of the class ( sorry not saying u r old but the care u have shown for class bonding). thanx for the great effort! A close friend like you is precious and rare. juz dont think too deeply and A's will be urs. u can surely do it one!
Zhiyan: (2nd bro) a responsible maths rep who does his job well, ms goh's right hand man. hahaz. A close friend like you is precious and rare. ya, salute u for sleeping 5.40am yesterday to chong. what i can say is gd work but dont overstress yourself. cos u know u r going to chong & get ur A's
Eekent: (1st bro) a very funny and smart friend.it's so fun to talk to you and to hear your stories. A close friend like you is precious and rare. Dont need to say, surely aces. persevere on!
i know i may not be in the position to say how to get A's but these are encouragement words that summarise to "we can do it"! Life is a journey, good or bad times are never forever, we need to move on. It's now time to placed our feelings aside and bring back 100% FOCUS into our studies. So it will be closure for the conflicts & the blog will be in clear skies once again. Now, we are preparing to enter the A'levels battlefield where more than 10,000 warriors fight with each other to get to the top. Make sure you prepare a sharp sword & a strong armour. we will form a team and fight our enemies. At the end of the day, even if we are injured, we know that we have no regrets cos we have done our best.
Next year, 2007 during March, when we see our teachers, they will tell us "your have done well". That is what we will hear. And we will be in tears. Of joy.
